Make sure you click on the bumGenius links above so you can read about my awesome experience using them. They were bought new and I used them on two babies. It was the only cloth diaper I used up until Clark was born. Since then I’ve not been shy about adding to my fluffy stash.
You’ll love these dipes, I promise! The XS BG dipes are still in great condition. Clark outgrew the XS’s diapers quickly. 3 of the XS’s have tiny blackish-brownish faint stains on them that I tried to bleach out with the sun…no luck- meconium (infants first stool) is pretty sticky stuff!
The Small BG’s are in good/fair condition (5). The ‘hook & loop’ (velcro) and laundry tabs are wearing out on most of them. The gussets are worn as in flat on a few of the small’s and not as ruched. I’d highly recommend getting a few hemp doubler’s from Cotton Babies for them. I’ve found that it helps keep the diaper from leaking.
I cared and washed for these dipes using quality products and tried to provide them with as much TLC as possible. As with anything over time there will be ‘wear & tear’ (no pun intended) and that is the case with the BG dipes. For baby #2 they held up fantastically but it’s now time to pass them on! The great thing about BG diapers is that you can request hook and loop and laundry tab replacement kits for FREE! Whomever wins this giveaway will receive a new set of hook and loop tabs to sew on and make your used BG dipes like new again!!
Now, I know what you’re thinking… I can’t sew-or even begin to sew…
Here’s the great news! They’re plenty of tutorials out there… Promise.

Okay, so now that’s out of the way…
The GADBaby Medium diaper is in excellent condition! It was sent to me by GADBaby to review. I chose black but you can get 52 different colors from GADBaby. You can view my review here. As I was taking photographs of the dipes, I realized that the GADBaby dipes are about the same size as a BG small. This diaper has the snap feature vs. the velcro. I really dig GADBaby diapers!
They’re both fab-dab dipes!!
