A group calling themselves CO2 Is Green is going public with a campaign to propagate one of the biggest misconceptions about the whole CO2 debate: Because it is biologically necessary for plant life, CO2 is, by extension, good for plants and animals, in any and all quantities. The problem with this logic, however, is that it focuses on the wrong scale entirely.

If you do have a healthy wool carpet in your home, you can still clean it without harsh chemicals like perchloroethylene – which the EPA has linked to kidney and liver damage. Naphthalene, made from coal tar, is also considered a carcinogen that can harm the central nervous system.

The weather is starting to cool off. I don’t know what it’s like where you’re at, but we’ve definitely had a few chilly nights already. According to the US Department of Energy, about 1/3 of our home energy use goes toward heating our homes. But there is a way to help girls in developing countries to stop having children, while giving aid to those that have already been born.

Have a great weekend everyone!
